BACKGROUND WITH LIGHT COLOR – The new background for the New Hampshire ID cards has a pink flower in its middle, and on each of its sides, there is a faded blue design. The entire background is made with a guilloche lacing that runs throughout the front.
DUPLICATE PHOTO & STATE OUTLINE – As you turn the card over on its front, there is an image of the state of New Hampshire in the bottom left corner on the back. Within it is a second ghost image. The ghost image is in full color, but its edges are cut off. The shape of the state is in the right top corner above the rock formation. The image is printed in blue ink, and it is solid, so you cannot see the background design behind it.
Special New Hampshire Driver’s License Features – Microprinting
Along with the guilloche lacing, there is microprinting on different sections of the background on the front of the card. Although microprinting cannot be seen well with the naked eye, it is an important security feature that is designed to stump fake ID makes. It can only be seen with a special magnifier.

Holograms state seals and state name – Tilting the front of the card from different angles will reveal two holographic state seals and two holographic “New Hampshire.” The seals are on top of the photo ID and on top of the driver’s license number. Large UV print of state seal – If the back of the ID card were placed under a blacklight, a large UV image of the state seal would take up most of the card. The ink is black, and it overlaps the rock formation.
Identification code has letters and numbers – You will see the credential identifier on the right-hand side of the driver’s license or identification card. This feature should have three letters and nine numbers after it. The cards we create will have an NHL or NHN as the first three letters.

How to spot a fake New Hampshire ID
The ghost image is blurry
The full ID photo and the ghost image should match completely except that the ghost image should be smaller. Sometimes, an unfocused camera or a bad editing job can turn the ghost image blurry. If an ID checker sees that the ghost image is not focused, you will automatically be removed from the bar or club.
The card turns white in the middle if you bend it

There are no letters at the beginning of the identification number
